News In brief
Launching the new Land Rover Evoque with Business Solutions - Disneyland® Paris!
It was the first time the French public had seen the LRX concept vehicle that inspired the Evoque – the last model designed in the Ford era before Land Rover and Jaguar were bought out. The decision by Tata Motors, the new owner, to go through with this project resulted in investments in three additional assembly lines in the UK and 300 engineers being hired.
The launch, organised with the help of the Business Solutions – Disneyland® Paris teams, was a great success. 200 participants were originally invited, but in the end 600 people actually came along to discover the Land Rover Evoque – with 5 vehicles on display outside – and enjoy the cocktail organized inside the Walt Disney Studios® Park. The venue was privatized for the event, offering guests a unique experience.
Relay France and Business Solutions: a great journey together!
Since 2000, Relais H, the new Relay chain, has had one of the largest international networks, with 850 outlets.
When it was time to gather its employees together, Relay France chose Business Solutions Disneyland® Paris’ teams.
The sales and operational managers were invited to a residential seminar on 15 November, and were joined by the rest of the teams for a plenary session on the second day.
There were around 300 people present in the final group, bringing together staff from head office and the franchise network.
All of the meetings took place at Disney’s Hotel New York® Convention Center, with dinner at the Manhattan Restaurant.
The following day, the participants were able to enjoy the Disney® Village entertainment area. Some of them were even fortunate enough to be able to extend their stay by half a day, so as to enjoy the Disney® Parks.
The complementary nature of the work and leisure areas offered by the site was perfectly suited to Relay’s needs. The brand describes its mission as being “to make travelling even more pleasant and enjoyable”.
To top it all, participants were sure to feel at home: Relay has an outlet right on the Disneyland® Paris site, in the Eurostar/TGV/RER station!
